# RiZe Dark City — Third-Party Asset Credits

This file records the external assets used by the V60 city-composition pass. The shipped files are optimized derivatives; unmodified source downloads are retained only in the local QA/source archive.

Earlier derivatives excluded the source textures. The V84 preview restores bundled roof, wood, door, window, and sign imagery from the user-provided Blender archive. The creator separately credits [Freepik](https://www.freepik.com/) for textures; their licensing must be confirmed before production launch rather than assumed to be covered by the model license.

V84 adds a custom curved lattice-window facade, subdivided/sculpted upturned eaves, edited storefront sections, monochrome materials, and Draco compression. The original artist's geometry and supplied imagery are adapted, not claimed as original RiZe artwork. The Max Hay corner is extracted from the user's existing Max Hay city assets; the native EV Next upper architecture is retained.

V85 adapts these components into six selected upper-storey insertions: an extracted full Max Hay corner, a complete two-storey Dragon Gate curved-eave inn, one curved lattice bay, glazed Max Hay shops and a stepped two-level shop. The inn was extracted and normalized in Blender, retaining its original roof, joinery and balcony geometry. Shop rooms have fitted side returns, roofs, floors and structural ledgers; local facade recesses leave the surrounding EV Next architecture in place. Twenty-three distributed sign fixtures are mounted to measured scene surfaces. These remain derivatives of the credited source assets; the bundled-texture launch caveat above still applies.

V86 adds two early Max Hay storefront infills, replaces the late lantern assembly with an actual Max Hay shop, deepens the inn's local architectural recess, and expands the measured distributed-sign set to 30. New ceiling shutter leaves and fitted trim are code-authored geometry. The credited assets and bundled-texture launch caveat remain unchanged.

V87 fits the extracted Max Hay corner into one early left slab and two early right infills. Six custom framed windows reuse the existing Max Hay glass textures on the corner's blank end wall. No new external assets or licenses were introduced; the existing launch caveat remains.

V88 edits the normalized Dragon Gate inn in Blender: two lower lattice-window assemblies and one upper window assembly are copied from its original front onto the measured blank side, retaining source UVs. Its Three.js fitting now preserves local dimensions before rotation. Six custom framed windows using existing Max Hay glass maps decorate the opposing right-side wall. The existing credits and texture-license caveat remain.

V89 reuses existing Max Hay metal textures for selected facade panels. V90 reshapes the adapted curved lattice bay into a squared bay in Blender, preserving the original imagery and UVs. V91 adds a cached architectural shadow map and reduces city fill lighting; it introduces no new third-party assets. These rendering changes do not replace or remove the original asset licenses or the texture-license caveat above.

V92 reuses the existing Max Hay corner and glazed storefront as two compact upper-left shop assemblies, with four additional physically mounted fixtures using the existing Japanese sign artwork. The user's previously isolated bold RiZe graffiti artwork is reused as three matte painted wall markings; it is not replacement third-party signage. No new external asset downloads or licenses were introduced. The source-asset credits and texture-license caveat above remain applicable.

V60 modifications include hidden-interior removal, material consolidation, texture resizing/WebP conversion, and Draco geometry compression. The London tower derivative retains the exterior facade, top, maintenance, trim, pillar, palette assemblies while removing lobby/interior furniture and sidewalk geometry.

V97 is a reversible architectural variation of the V96 scene, not a ground-up replacement of the third-party artwork. A shared coordinate transformation varies building depths, storey proportions, frontage widths, and the attached fixtures together. It changes the procedural cladding pattern and selected material responses, adds code-authored chamfered service cornices and sign hoods, and reshapes the chamber's proportions while preserving the logo and camera track. The original sign artwork and texture imagery remain licensed derivatives. The source credits, attribution obligations, and unresolved bundled-texture launch caveat above remain applicable; no percentage-of-originality or ownership claim is made.

## V98 experimental reconstruction

The visible V98 tower, storefront, plinth, canopy, and chamber geometry is newly authored for RiZe. The former Max Hay/Dragon Gate building meshes are not shipped as runtime model assets in this experiment. The street layout, ground/aperture registration, animation, logo assets, licensed textures and Japanese sign artwork remain derived from the credited work above. This is not a claim that retained source artwork has become proprietary or that its attribution/licensing requirements have changed.

## V99 component integration

V99 retains V98's reconstructed building shells and introduces selected licensed Max Hay storefront framing/glazing/fascia and Dragon Gate door, lattice-window, and eave components. These components are reused source geometry and artwork, fitted into the new architecture; no complete source building complex is restored. Surface textures, source sign artwork and their licensing/attribution requirements remain as credited above. The additional chamber ribs, service clusters, and component supports are newly constructed geometry. V99 is not an assertion that the reused components or textures are proprietary to RiZe.
